Blessing held for newly renovated HFD training tower

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Fire Department held a blessing ceremony for its newly renovated training tower on Tuesday.

At 1 p.m., HFD Battalion Chief Chad Nakagawa, Fire Captain Jacob Pekelo, and others were in attendance as Kahu Kordell Kekoa blessed the training tower.

The ceremony was held at the Charles H. Thurston Fire Training Center on Valkenburgh Street.
