NUUANU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Nuuanu Elementary School will reopen to students on Wednesday after a nearby water main break forced a daylong closure on Tuesday, the state Department of Education says.

Board of Water Supply crews said earlier Tuesday that a 12-inch water main had ruptured beneath Puiwa Road.

A water wagon was made available for the four customers who were without water, including Nuuanu Valley Park and Nuuanu Elementary School.
