HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Is it spray paint or sulfur? Geologists say the latest Kilauea eruption in the Southwest Rift Zone left behind vibrant sulfur deposits.
While it looks like spray paint, the yellow lines are actually crystals made of sulfur.
Geologists made the discovery while relocating web cameras in the area.

They also found cracking near the fissure and residual gas emissions.
The June 3 eruption lasted about 12 hours with lava covering about 100 acres with an active fissure system more than half a mile long.
