CBS News correspondent and Former KGMB reporter Carter Evans visits Hawaii

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - CBS News correspondent Carter Evans is visiting Hawaii to help teach a seminar for local broadcasters. He grew up in Kaimuki, graduated from Punahou and got his start as a photographer at KGMB. He is based in Los Angeles now, but he says he makes it a point to go surfing each time he returns home. A stop at L&L for a mixed barbeque chicken plate is also a must-do item on his checklist. He stopped by Sunrise to talk about returning home.
