Zippy’s opens fourth restaurant in Las Vegas

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Zippy’s Restaurants celebrated the grand opening of its fourth Las Vegas location Tuesday.

The new restaurant is located in the Summerlin area at 10810 W. Charleston Blvd.

The celebration featured a traditional Hawaiian blessing, maile lei untying, Hawaiian chants and hula, and a performance by dancers from the local Paiute tribe.

“Every opening is more than a milestone, it’s our way of carrying the spirit of Hawaii forward, honoring the people who came before us, and welcoming new guests into our Zippy’s ‘ohana,” said Belma Soliven, Zippy’s senior regional director.

Customer Helene Kiyono says the restaurant provides a taste of home.

“It’s, like, local food! There’s no place like Zippy’s. It’s the go-to place,” Kiyono said.
