EWA BEACH (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police said they responded to multiple e-bike and e-motorcycle violations in Ewa Saturday night.

HPD said they responded to a large group of e-bike and e-motorcycle riders around 7:30 p.m. on Keoneula Boulevard in Ewa.

According to police, riders were seen committing numerous violations in moving traffic, and one rider crashed into the rear end of a police vehicle. As the officer was helping the injured rider, a second rider damaged the officer’s vehicle.

Several investigations have been launched because of the incident.

HPD then responded to another incident on Keoneula Boulevard an hour later that also involved a large group of riders.

Police said a 16-year-old boy was arrested for disorderly conduct, driving without a license and disobeying an officer.
