Amid erosion concerns, city to begin repairs for Kaneohe Dam

KANEOHE (HawaiiNewsNow) - The city is set to begin repairing a portion of the Kaneohe Dam at the Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden.

Improvements will enhance the structural integrity of the area which currently suffers from surface erosion.

The botanical garden will stay open to visitors, with the project area blocked off.

Work is set to start next week and is expected to take until next fall.
