HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - More than five years after an iconic restaurant closed for good in Waikiki, a new tenant is taking over.
The beloved Wailana Coffee House will become an ABC Store.
Workers have already begun doing the buildout for a new, high-end ABC Store branded “Island Country Markets.”
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the chain.
It was started and still run by the Kosasa family.
