HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A COVID-19 cluster linked to University of Hawaii at Manoa student housing is growing, officials say.

The university said Thursday a total of 11 students have tested positive so far.

About a dozen others are considered close contacts.

The university expects some of them to test positive in the coming days.

All of the close contacts have moved off campus for isolation.

Since April 2020, there have been 92 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the university’s 10 campuses, including 61 at UH-Manoa. Among those, 25 have been students who live on the Manoa campus, UH officials said.
