Chow named offensive coordinator for XFL’s Los Angeles franchise

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Rainbow Warrior football head coach Norm Chow is now an assistant coach in the XFL, joining the league’s Los Angeles franchise as the team’s offensive coordinator.

Chow served as Hawaii’s head coach for three and a half seasons before coming to a mutual agreement with the university to step down during the 2015 season after a 2-7 start. Overall, Chow posted a head coaching record of 10-36.

Chow has previous coaching stints at BYU, USC, UCLA, Utah and North Carolina State. He also served as the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator.

The inaugural season of the XFL will kickoff next February.
