All eastbound lanes of H-1 reopened after crews extinguish vehicle fire

AIEA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - All eastbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway in Aiea have been reopened on Monday morning after crews extinguished a vehicle fire.
Police initially responded at around 6:30 a.m.
The vehicle was moved to the right shoulder lane of the H-1 after the Aiea Heights overpass.
Honolulu firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze just before 7 a.m., but police didn't reopen lanes until around 7:25 a.m.
