Kaneohe Bay Drive reopened after vehicle hits pole near YWCA

Kaneohe Bay Drive has been reopened, according to police.

Traffic is being rerouted in Kaneohe after a vehicle hit a pole near the YWCA Monday morning, according to Honolulu police.

As of 8:40 a.m., Kailua-bound traffic is being rerouted to Miha Street, while Kaneohe-bound traffic is being diverted to Kokokahi Place.

A 33-year-old woman was transported to a hospital in serious condition following the crash, according to Emergency Medical Services. Two other patients declined transport to the hospital, EMS added. 

The Honolulu Fire Department and Hawaiian Electric Company also responded.
