(Gray News) - President Donald Trump said he called Google CEO Sundar Pichai and asked to rename the Atlantic Ocean.

Trump, who made the remarks at a South Carolina rally for U.S. Sen. Darline Graham, said he told Pichai that Google was “really great with the lake,” referencing when Google Maps relabeled the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.

“I only like two oceans: The Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. I’m not going to put either Trump or America on any other ocean but these two,” he said. “I said: ‘Sundar, I’m thinking of the Atlantic Ocean.’”

Trump said Pichai told him, “No, no, no. This time I’m not doing it. Oceans are different, sir. They cover a lot of countries. Please don’t ask us to do that.”

Trump told the crowd, “I’ll probably pass.”

“I think let’s keep it the Atlantic Ocean,” he said.

Trump also talked about how he signed executive orders to change the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America and the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

He told the crowd that he has been looking for a river to rename, possibly the Hudson River or Mississippi River.
