Honolulu firefighters respond to car fire on H-1 Freeway

WAIMALU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A raging car fire on the freeway Sunday afternoon caught the attention of several drivers on the H-1 Freeway.
The car fire happened around 1 p.m. on the H-1 going east right before the Waimalu-Pearl ridge Exit. Honolulu firefighters were able to put the car out without any injuries.
It's unclear what caused the car to burst into flames, according to authorities.
