Body found on Kalihi canal embankment

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police were called to Middle Street Friday after a man’s body was found on a canal embankment.

Emergency Medical Services pronounced the 79-year-old man dead at the scene shortly before 10:15 a.m.

HPD says there are no obvious sign of foul play.

Police classified the case as an unattended death.
