INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY is the fifth and final episode in the popular series of movies starring Harrison Ford. This one took 8 months to shoot and had a final budget of almost 300 million dollars. The man reason to see it is the fine acting of 80 year old Harrison Ford especially at the end of the film when the globe trotting adventurer he plays is wounded and tired. There are also several creatively choreographed chase scenes that I thoroughly enjoyed even though the preposterous action they show seems almost cartoonish. I liked the snappy repartee between Indiana Jones and Phoebe Waller Bridge as his goddaughter, but the overstuffed plot is pretty silly. Finally, the movie would be a lot more entertaining if half an hour were chopped from its running time of 2 hours and 24 minutes….My review of ASTEROID CITY can be seen at https://youtu.be/cfAyTwfbcAk
