A new drama on HBO Max called THE FALLOUT shows the traumatic effects of a school shooting on two teenage girls who escape the attack by hiding in a restroom. That description may not sound appealing, but THE FALLOUT is one of the most powerful films I’ve seen in the last couple of years. It’s special and very realistic. The movie makes us feel confused emotions the two girls go through as they try to cope with the traumatic after effects of a school shooting. After seeing this great film, I can better understand why so many survivors of school shootings can take a very long time to even begin to recover. The movie was written and directed by Megan Park (best known as an actress) as her first feature film. If you subscribe to HBO Max, I urge you to check out at least the first twenty minutes.
