Local Kauai Grown Produce and crafts is what you will find at the Anainahou Farmers Market in Kilauea, every Saturday from 9 am – 12 pm. Adela Rose from Rosa Tropical Exotic Farms shows her knife skills and prepares an ice-cold coconut for me to try in less than 5 seconds. I finally get to try the highly sought-after bread from Midnight Bear Bread Bakery in Hanapepe, it’s one of the best breads I have ever tasted. Then we meet Tony, the “nut whisperer” from Kauai Gourmet Nuts and learn more about the different collaborations of macadamia nuts with local Kauai businesses.
