GROUNDHOG DAY is one of those rare comedies that I’ve watched at least three times. (It came out in 1993.) So, even if you too have seen it before, chances are good that you’ll enjoy watching it again for free on Netflix or for 3 or 4 dollars on other streaming sites. Bill Murray has never been better than in his performance as Phil Connors, an arrogant jerk of a TV weatherman who gets stuck in a time loop, living February 2nd over and over until he finally cleans up his act and becomes a better person. The premise of the film has become part of American culture. When each day seems like the one before (as it does right now for lots of us), many people are reminded of GROUNDHOG DAY.
