Terry Hunter reviews ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is the 9th feature film from PULP FICTION director Quentin Tarantino, and it may well be the most audience friendly of all his movies. The movie vividly recreates the Hollywood of 1969 at the end of its so called Golden Age, and anyone who was alive then will likely marvel at his accomplishment. The movie is also a “once upon a time” fairly tale in which the 1969 murder of actress Sharon Tate by the Manson family never happens. It’s got entertaining characters as well as great acting, and it’s a real pleasure to watch. (2 hrs. 41 mins, but feels shorter)
