Press Conference: Ige, state officials discuss Mauna Kea controversy, start of TMT construction

Authorities converged on Mauna Kea early Thursday, dismantling at least two structures built by Native Hawaiian activists. Gov. Ige is expected to discuss the events of this morning, as well as the potential start of TMT construction.
NOAA is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the successful prosecution of those responsible for intentionally killing a Hawaiian monk seal on Oahu in March.
