Hawaiian Adding California Flights for Stranded ATA Passengers

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Hawaiian Airlines is launching additional flights to California in response to the sudden closure ATA Airlines.

Hawaiian Airlines added special transpacific roundtrip flights between Honolulu and San Francisco for Friday, April 4 to help accomodate displaced ATA travelers.

Flight 1012 will leave Honolulu on Friday at 1:50 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 9:55 p.m.  Return flight 1011 will depart San Francisco that same evening at 11:00 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu on Saturday morning at 1:05 a.m.

The airlines also announced the introduction of nonstop daily service between Honolulu and Oakland, starting Thursday, May 1.

Hawaiian's Flight 47 will depart Oakland daily at 9:00 a.m. and arrive in Honolulu at 11:05 a.m. Return Flight 48 will depart Honolulu daily at 1:30 p.m. and arrive in Oakland at 9:25 p.m.

Hawaiian is also working on scheduling special flights for Monday and Tuesday, April 7 & 8.
