The new "Magnum P.I." premieres Monday at 8 p.m. on KGMB, and is a remake of the 1980s original.

The 80s version starred Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum, a Navy veteran turned private investigator. Selleck's Magnum sported an iconic mustache and drove fast cars as he investigated criminals and fought crime in Hawaii.

CBS' reboot debuts Jay Hernandez as Magnum (minus the mustache) but with no lack of expensive sports cars. The new Thomas Magnum is an Ex-Navy Seal who served in Afghanistan and moved to Hawaii to be a private investigator with a group of his friends.
