MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Classes resumed at Mililani High School Monday morning after a brief lockdown that was prompted by unverified reports of gunfire near the campus, a school official tells Hawaii News Now.
The all-clear was issued at 9:36 a.m., according to a Department of Education spokesperson. Earlier, police officials responded to the campus and surrounding areas and were reported to have swept parts of the school as a precaution.
The incident, which has not yet been confirmed by police, is believed to have happened off campus. No injuries were reported.
