HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Honolulu man who says he was sexually abused by a priest 37 years ago is suing the Catholic church and the order of the deceased priest.

The lawsuit filed anonymously says the man was a child at Makiki's Sacred Heart church in 1980 and 1981 when he was repeated sexually abused by Father James Jackson. The lawsuit says church officials knew of Jackson's pedophilia, but did nothing to protect young parishioners.

Jackson was even treated by Dr. Robert Browne, a psychiatrist who was a serial pedophile himself, though it's not likely the church knew that.

This is at least the sixth accusation against Jackson.
