A Waikiki senior affordable housing development is seeking renter applicants.

The Ainahau Vista II project is intended for low-income seniors ages 55 or older.

The 62-unit complex, located at 2428 Tusitala St., includes 47 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units and 15 studio apartments.

To qualify, seniors must have annual incomes of 50 percent or less of the Honolulu median income, or about $46,650 for two people.

Each unit is partially furnished with an oven, refrigerator and garbage disposal. Water, electricity and sewer costs are included in the monthly rent; tenants must pay their own cable and phone bill.

To learn more about Ainahau Vista II or to request an application, call the on-site office at (808) 926-6700 or click here.

Prospective tenants must have landlord references.
