KIHEI, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A fatal collision that killed two people in Kihei less than two weeks ago has now claimed a third life.

Family members say motorcycle passenger Monique Tong died on Saturday after being flown to the Queen's Medical Center following a deadly crash on July 20.

Police say 42-year-old William Chapman drove into a van turning left onto Piilani Highway with Tong as his passenger.

Chapman died at the scene, along with the driver of the van, 48-year-old Tina Hanback.

Before her death on Saturday, Tong was being treated for extensive swelling, a collapsed lung, and several broken bones.
