Ulta Beauty set to open first Hawaii store on Valley Isle

KAHULUI, MAUI (Hawaii News Now) — Ulta Beauty will open its first Hawaii location Friday morning on the Valley Isle.

The Maui location will be in the Puunene Shopping Center in Kahului. Its doors will open at 10 a.m. Friday with special deals awaiting customers.

The chain has more than 1,100 stores across the United States and will open three more long-awaited locations on Oahu this year, including Pearl Highlands Center on Aug. 17 and Kailua Town and Kapolei Commons later this year.

From Friday through Sunday, the first 100 customers to go to the Maui store each day will receive an Ulta Beauty treat.

The beauty retailer sells cosmetics, fragrances, skincare products and much more. It's similar to Sephora, selling many of the same makeup brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit Cosmetics and Tarte. It also has its own cosmetics brand called Ulta Beauty Collection.
