Keauhou Shopping Center will be accepting donations for the people of Puna on Saturday afternoon.

Organizers say that 100 percent of the proceeds collected from Keauhou Kares will go toward relief efforts for those affected by the eruption.

A list of requested items can be donated at the shopping center starting at noon and monetary donations are also being accepted.

There will be entertainment on the stage. And at 5 p.m., singer and slack key guitar artist Ben Kaili will perform. Admission is two cans of food which will be donated to Hawaii Island's food bank.

  • Respirator Masks and Cartridges
  • Cots
  • Folding Chairs
  • Dog and Cat Food
  • Cat Litter
  • Dish Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Ear swabs
