KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are investigating a car crash that left a man in critical condition early Saturday morning.
Around 2 a.m. a 33-year-old man was driving west on Kamehameha Highway when he hit a man in a crosswalk with his vehicle. Police say the pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, did not have the right of way at the time of the incident.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision.
