"The Goodfather" Dives into Life of Larry Mehau

In The Goodfather — The Life of Larry Mehau in His Own Words (And A Few Others) Don Chapman investigates whether Mehau is indeed the king of organized crime in Hawaii. Chapman conducted the only one-on-one interviews Mehau ever gave to the media, 16 hours' worth. Chapman, the former MidWeek editor, also interviews people who were close to Mehau, a man so powerful that four Hawaii governors attended his celebration of life, as did a state Supreme Court justice, a retired justice, a former state judge and the Honolulu prosecuting attorney.
