Howard Dicus reports Federal court battles over the DACA program have raised an interesting legal question. As you know, DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. The program aids people whose parents brought them to America as children. It allows them to secure work visa and avoid deportation.
Several courts have blocked the administration from scrapping DACA. But one federal judge in New York is to some extent reconsidering. He considered inflammatory statements Trump made about Latinos on the campaign trail. Now he says, had it not been for those statements, he MIGHT not have ruled the same way. And he notes, plaintiffs did not charge Trump made such statements as president. The legal question is: can statements made before becoming president be used to show bias? The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments on that in two weeks.

Instead of sprinting, he does his best Chariots of Fire impression by running in slow-motion. His dad/coach tries to get him to hurry by pushing him toward home, which Lennox just shrugs off to make his dramatic finish.
