WAIANAE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauhale Kamaile, the modular housing project that opened in Waianae last month, is completely full.
The housing project, which sits on a 1.1 acre lot across from Waianae High School, is now home to 21 adults and 37 children in the community. The project cost $5 million dollars.
The city initiative took more than two years to complete, and Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell says it's providing a better life for dozens of families.
