For second time in less than a week, HPD investigating threat to a Mililani school

MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - First Mililani Middle School, now Mililani High School.
For the second time in less than a week, police are investigating a threatening note found on a school campus in Central Oahu.
Sources say the note was found Tuesday in a girls restroom on campus threatening a shooting. School officials were notified and reported it to police.
In a statement, the Department of Education said, "We consider all threats a serious matter which is why we've notified police."
In a letter sent home a letter to families Monday, Mililani Principal Fred Murphy said, "The safety and well being of all students, staff and families is of paramount importance to us."
The letter went on to say additional safety precautions have been initiated, but it did not go into specifics.
Last week Friday, a similar note was found in a classroom at Mililani Middle School. Police responded and opened a first degree terroristic threatening investigation.
No arrests have been made in either incidents.
