MILILANI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are investigating a threatening note found in a classroom at Mililani Middle School Friday.
Police sources say a student found a note that read "I'm going to shoot up the school." The note was recovered and taken as evidence.
Sources say police determined there was no credible threat and initiated a first degree terroristic threatening case.
In a statement, the DOE said, "The school takes all threats seriously and is working closely with HPD and the Hawaii State Department of Education's Safety and Security to Branch to make sure the campus remains safe."
No arrests have been made in connection to this incident.
