SUNSET BEACH, Hawaii - Ocean Safety officials are telling the public to stay away from Sunset Beach.

Extreme erosion has caused an Ocean Safety storage room to teeter on the edge of a 20 foot drop.

Tomorrow city crews will be at the beach to come up with a plan of how to deal with the building.

Last week, city workers fenced off more than 200 feet of a nearby bike path.

Mayor Caldwell says in the short-term, the path will be moved mauka and a temporary route will be established in the parking lot. No word on when that work will begin.
