KALIHI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After six months on the run a Laumaka work furlough inmate is back behind bars.
Honolulu Police say 50-year-old Steven Wayne Meyers was arrested Friday in the Kalihi area.
In September of 2016, Meyers failed to return to OCCC from the work furlough program.
He was serving time for criminal property damage.
Meyers now faces escape charges.
