NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK (HawaiiNewsNow) - Most musicians only dream of performing at Carnegie Hall.

So imagine what a high it was for the students of Niu Valley Middle's band and Waianae Intermediate's choir to take that famous stage.

The students practiced for months to perform in festivals highlighting the talents of students from across the nation. The Waianae students performed Sunday, while the Niu Valley students fought their way through a blizzard Tuesday to get to the venue.
