Remembrance ceremonies held for late state Rep. Clift Tsuji

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The public is invited to pay their final respects to the late state Rep. Clift Tsuji, who died in mid-November.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 2 in the House chamber at the state Capitol. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a short program at 10:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation as there will be limited public parking at the Capitol.
A memorial service will also be held on the Big Island on Sunday, Dec. 4 at Dodo Mortuary on Wainaku Street in Hilo. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. and the service will start at 4 p.m.
A private family burial will be held Dec. 5.
Tsuji – who represented Keaukaha, parts of Hilo, Panaewa and Waiakea -- died at the Queen's Medical Center on Nov. 15. He is remembered by colleagues as a quiet, gentle and hard-working legislator who always put his constituents first.
He was 75.
