A special documentary chronicles the struggles of Hawaii's homeless crisis. The filmmakers followed two families for more than a year as they struggled from sidewalk tents to subsidized housing, allowing them to tell their personal stories of how and why they became homess.
The film's creators, Anthony Aalto and Mike Hinchey, discussed the filmmaking process on Sunrise.
"No Room in Paradise" premieres on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on KGMB.
