HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Jefferson Elementary School teacher, accused of sexually assaulting a child has pleaded not guilty.
Court documents allege that Michael Wright began abusing the girl in 2011, when she was 12.
She was not a student at Jefferson Elementary, but the two know each other.
Wright's lawyer claims the girl made up the allegations.
