Red Cross volunteers to assess Maui flooding damage

LAHAINA, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Emergency shelters on Maui have closed as heavy rains move away from the island.

The American Red Cross shelters were opened for residents who were forced to evacuate due to flooding.

The Red Cross said volunteers will be canvassing hard-hit areas to assess damage.
