Kupuna Achievers: Aurora Fruehling
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - We have a new segment on Hawaii News Now called, Kupuna Achievers featuring seniors who refuse to slow down and who are making a difference.
We are excited to introduce you to Aurora Fruehling. She volunteers for a number of organizations and she's involved in a wide array of charities but one that is near and dear to her heart involves using your imagination.
For more than two-decades, Auntie Aurora has been on the board of the Hawaii Arts Alliance, a passion she hopes to share with generations to follow.
"I think that to give because we are blessed with many gifts I think we should share them with the community the arts is theater its dance its painting its literature its art is not just you know two dimensional as a child explores all these various aspects they become more than one dimensional."
Aurora is far from one-dimensional. Her dedication to others and big heart is why she's our Kupuna Achiever. May she inspire all of us to be more creative.
If you know any Kupuna Achiever make sure to nominate them at HawaiiNewsNow.com.
