JAPAN (HawaiiNewsNow) - The captain of a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Japan to Honolulu returned the plane and its passengers to the airport after takeoff due to a low hydraulic fluid indicator.
The plane departed Haneda just before noon Monday, Japan time, and landed safely almost two hours later.
There were 280 passengers and 13 crewmembers aboard flight 458.
Hawaiian Airlines has sent a new aircraft to Haneda to accommodate the passengers who were not able to make it back to Honolulu.
Hawaiian Airlines officials say mechanics are currently inspecting the aircraft.
