KALALAU, KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man whose body was found in the Kalalau Valley on June 11 has been identified as 43-year-old Sean Michael Rollnick.
An autopsy determined that Rollnick's cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma consistent with falling from a cliff. Foul play is not suspected in the cause of his death.
Authorities located the body around 9 a.m. on June 11 near the shoreline of Kalalau Beach.
A few days later, Rollnick's friend reported him missing since he had not seen or heard from him since June 8. Kauai police were able to positively identify the body as Rollnick's through fingerprint analysis.
Authorities said Rollnick lived on Kauai on and off for several years, but did not have a permanent address.
