Bounty Hunter 'Dog' Chapman's younger sister dies
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The younger sister of Duane "Dog" Chapman has unexpectedly died, the celebrity bounty hunter announced on Tuesday.
Jolene Kay Martinez died from complications of pneumonia and was removed from life support Monday night. She was 62 years old.
"I am absolutely positively sure she's in heaven right now," said Chapman. "But in Hawaii we don't say 'goodbye,' we say 'aloha oe until we meet again,' and I know I will see my sister again, which gives all of us some comfort at this very sad time."
Chapman and his wife Beth, currently starring in A&E's Dog the Bounty Hunter and CMT's Dog and Beth: On The Hunt, are flying from Hawaii to Denver, Colorado where she lived to arrange her services.
Martinez is survived by her two children and three siblings.
