Former Maui High teacher, football coach found guilty of sexting teen

KAHULUI, MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Maui High School teacher and head football coach David Bui has been found guilty of sexting with a minor.
He pleaded no contest Thursday in a courtroom where a judge found him guilty for five counts of indecent electronic display to a child.
He was put on indefinite leave from his position as an English teacher after his arrest in February 2015. He also stepped down as head coach of the school's football team.
He faces a sentence of up to one year in prison and a $2,000 fine on each count.
Bui will be sentenced on July 14.
