Uber driver indicted for sex assault
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Honolulu grand jury indicted an Uber driver for sexual assault on Thursday.
Luke Wadahara, the 24-year-old accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl during an Uber ride, was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault.
Police arrested Wadahara on Sunday, just hours after he allegedly locked the teen in his car and attacked her in Makiki.
Wadahara's bail was set at $150,000.
