Laumaka work furlough inmate arrested following escape

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Gilbert Rivera Jr., 53, was arrested shortly before noon Saturday in the Pearl City area.
The Laumaka work furlough inmate was reported missing on Thursday. after he was supposed to meet with his case manager but didn't show up.
Rivera is serving time for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft. He also faces an escape charge.
