HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Four Seasons Oahu General Manager Sanjiv Hullugalle appeared on Sunrise to talk about the opening of their property. In mid-September, the luxury property will begin accepting reservations for its new site at the former J.W. Marriott at Ihilani. Hullugalle said that even though there are no huge structural changes, the feel and atmosphere will be different and unique to their brand. The resort is adding in several restaurants, renovating the lobby and rooms and upgrading its services to accommodate guests.

Hullugalle said the grand opening will be in the spring of 2016. The average rate of a room is about $450 per night. As an introductory offer, the resort will also offer a 4th night free option. In the next few weeks, they are hoping to offer kamaaina rates as well.

As a part of the Honolulu community, Hullugalle said that he hopes to become a fabric of life on Oahu and hopes locals will sample the restaurants, celebrate weddings and employ their banquet services in the future.

They are also looking for new employees for the property. Go to their website for more information.
